ANTI POVERTY INITIATIVESa) Micro-business support

In the past, we have identified certain skills and ambitions in our programme beneficiaries and have provided support to help them start their own businesses. When funding is available, this includes:

  • Corporate identity creation and design.
  • Business website and content management.
  • Social media marketing and campaign management.
  • Basic marketing plan and tools to improve sales.
  • Order and invoicing management.
  • Quarterly directors meetings to stay abreast of progress, offer support and advice.
  • Pricing and sales packages guidance.
  • Purchasing of inventory and equipment for use in business-related activities.

b) Education facilitation

We adopt a holistic approach when interacting with each individual, taking a look at each person and their circumstances. Often this requires resources to be allocated to general poverty alleviation which is supportive of our main objectives. These resources inevitably include transport, hunger alleviation, access to libraries etc.
